The Time has come

The time has come, i finally bought my self Pokertracker and PokerAce Hud
i figured what the hell i might aswell get some use out of it seeing i wanna multi table more and more nowdays

But (there's always a but hehe) i already found the first problem: ME!
me and my brain are really worthless at this point after the past 4 days i have been partying
i only live in a small town but even so my town has these 4 days once a year called Doesburg inside out and the action is just crazy we got bands standing outside the pub and the whole street is packed, i mean PACKED!! there are like 300 people there wich doesnt sound like much but try to fill up a small space between a pub and the stage wich is like - like i said my brain aint working so prob gonna be totally off - 20 meters, yeah i think 20 by 20 or something either way you get my point it was crowded
and the beer tasted good and so did the woman.

Sooo anyway back on topic here
Acehud is gonna take a few minutes to configure but Pokertracker is gonna be crap
i suck at pokertracker so im gonna have to see what everything means and where i can find the important information i want.

gonna get some more sleep now to reboot my braincapacitiy ;) lol

Distraction

Well after a long wait i finally got my PSP last week (Playstation Portable) and man what a machine :) the graphics look so good and the games are just awesome
playing some GTA Vice City Stories now and Tekken Dark Ressurection now those are some kick ass games.

Also now that my boss doesnt have too much work for me for couple of weeks im practicly relying on Poker as my income wich is pretty patethic because i cant live on poker yet lol good thing i still live at home.
But being at home gives me a good oppertunity to pick up my accounting study again wich has been laying around without getting attention.

Then there's another thing, i read this interview on liquidpoker about rekrul wich was very nice to read for poker but also brought up Starcraft wich he used to play (wich i used to play also) so heck i found out i still have it on my computer and decided to play a few games of that aswell.

So all in all pretty much bad for poker however im still very well motivated to keep learning and studieing poker and my game so i havnt been sitting still.
I think most important thing for me now is finding a solid game i mean i like loose aggressive but i find that i can be more succesfull over a long term in finding a middle road between loose aggressive and tight aggressive wich is great i think seeing its another big step in being able to build up youre bankroll and moving up in limits.

1st Long Cashgame Session

Last night i had my first long during cashgame session in order to challange myself to play good on a long stretch and also to see and play more hands to grow faster
i started at about 22:30 GMT and ended at 05:30

I cant say that i made alott of cash during this 7 hour session wich seems weird
but it shure gave me an explosion of knowledge about my own game and about others
during this session i started playing just tight then half way tru i got little steamed up and lost half my profit then in the last 2 hours i played my "A" game
loose aggressive in a profitable way making plays understanding when i have FE
i was completely card dead during that 2 hour strecht
i got 72o like 7 times and 72s 3 times
i dont think i saw one pair higher then 9s and Ax higher then A9
luckly that style i was playing didnt need me to get those premium hands as i was making moves with complete garbage all over the place
and when i spiked a set with 96o i got payed good for it

This night really made me understand what my "A" game really is and what i should be looking for when im sitting down at a table
i really enjoyed this long session and i recommend you try it aswell when you have the time
besides making money youre learning alott about youre game

Also there's something nice about going to bed when the sun just came up
anyway i just got up at 12:30 and cant wait to start playing again but first gotta get a shower and some breakfast.

Mansion 100k GTD

Yesterday my bankroll got up to the point where i told myself i could play a $10 satalite to the 100k guaranteed on Mansion
and seeing i was playing so well all day long i wanted to play it that night
unfortunantly there was only 1 satalite left as the 100k started in 90 minutes
after doubting a little while i just said "screw it" lets play
i was doubting because it was a turbo
blinds going up every 4 minutes and can become a total crapshoot around the FT

Very quickly i worked my stack up to around 2300 (1500 starting)
then i got AJs and figured this was my first good hand to play a big pot with
i raised to 650 from MP (blinds 100/200 already)
SB and BB both call flop comes Kxx and i have to fold to the all in shove as i dont want to commit myself with just A hi
few pots later im down to 1k as i get AQo in the CO without hesitation i shove it in and again getting 2 callers showing 55 and 77 however a Q on the flop gives me the win and im up to around 3500
other then that i just had alott of luck with some other hands like KJ vs Ax or Kx vs Ax for about 4 times i geuss the only hand i saw a flop on without having all my chips in was when i got K3s spades on the button UTG mini raises to 400 MP3 calls i call SB folds and the BB goes all in for 700
everybody makes the call and the flop comes A33 2 diamonds UTG instantly shoves it in for about 3k MP folds and i make the easy call and win a big pot against A7

With about 20 players left i had a solid top 3 chipstack wich i didnt gave away anymore
top 6 paid a ticket and without any coinflips i made the ticket

Then half hour after that i played my very first 100k Guaranteed on Mansion
and i had a great feeling about it as my first hand showed AA
MP3 raises to 70 (10/20 blinds) i make it 250 and the BB shoves and i double against his AK
sadly tho i go pretty much card dead make a very nice fold against TT
and overplay my pair of 6s on 5QQ and am officialy shortstacked
normally im pretty good at picking spots to get back up but this time my A4s ran into Aces and im out at 366 out 667 entrants

so all and all im happy i made the ticket and even tho i busted out early and picked a wrong spot i played fairly well and looking forward to my next 100k hoping to make a nice cash

Down Swing Central

yup its time

i got my first mansion down swing
just finding myself playing marvelous and just end up losing all the good hands

when i got an overpair somebody made a set or FH
when i got a big overpair somebody shows aces

just now i played my hand IMO pretty good except the river might be discussable

i get aces on the CO Full Ring guy mini raises from UTG+2 i reraise his 0,40 to 0,75 blinds fold and utg calls
pot now has 1,80 villian bets out 0,60 on a QJ4 rainbow board
and i decide to slowplay him as my only danger is KT and QJ (wich im just losing my money to) so i just call
turn comes a harmless 2nd diamond deuce he checks and i decide to check behind to get a nice bet out of him on the river and to let him think im drawing

river is a diamond A now im not concenered about him completing his flush so my only real worry would be KT and QJ as i said be4 QJ im just paying off but i have a set now so only problem is KT he bets out 2,85 in the $3 pot and here is the discussable part IMO
i raised him all in for like another $4,50 he calls and shows KT

now i just wanted to get value out of my set of aces and i dont think i could of layed it down here
but calling alone might have been better

but still many times this could still be QJ or KQ or AQ and im getting value out of it

but these kind of hands i just keep losing on even when im satisfied by how the way i played it i end up having the 2nd best hand

so lets just hope this down swing ends soon because else i can say goodbye to my freshly build up bankroll at Mansion hehe :)

Mansion Mission

so thanks to Pokernews.nl i heard about this pokerroom called Mansion Poker
read some reviews and decided to give it a quick look
and also i heard about the 100k GTD so another reason to play there

so i deposited just the very small amount of 10 Euro putting half the money at risc right away as i sat down at the minimum cash game 20NL and found out the skill level was pretty sweet
no fighting to contain youre frustration against the endless donks trowing it all in with 72o all day like on pokerstars minumum cash table
but also no real sharks either as the tables arent very LAG either playing little loose aggressive there really works out fine
as 3 days later i worked my money up to 70 euro wich is around $90 (10 euro being $13)

to be on topic to the title the mission is:

to try and create a nice bankroll management i decided to go for the sats for the 100 GTD
as reward of reaching my 1st goal wich is $100 bankroll (wich is like only $10 more) im allowed to play 1 satalite to the 100k if i win a ticket im playing it if im not cashing i gotta work my bankroll up to the previous target ($100) plus an extra $33 (25 euro) then the same reward of playing 1 sat stays
this goes up untill i either cash in the 100k or my bankroll is up at $250 then im changing the mission

so wish me luck hope to have a nice cash to talk about soon

Cash game night

had a little cash game night today
since ive been capable of consitantly making money on the mirco limits
and it all went pretty well

won about 2 buyins
and i was just about to go to bed when i saw some friends from the Pokernews forum playing in a cashgame and i decided to join them

all went pretty well and was up a little bit as i started with less then max buy in

then this hand comes up

im in BB with 48s (as you know im trying out for aggressive so i dont mind playing this hand)

folded to the SB who has me covered raises 3x BB i call

flop comes 4J8 r

villian bets 0,08 i raise to 0,24 he reraises to 0,98 i think about it little while figuring JJ is just bad luck and decide to go for it and push all in for the rest of my $4 wich he calls
he shows Suited JK im like YES!!!

and im just shocked lol
good thing im only shocked for a few seconds and find myself able to laugh about it

wich is good and i can now say im comfterble playing cashgames and loosing to a suck out
